Single component aliphatic polyurethane resin that, once cu-red, forms a continuous, hard, elastic and flexible coating with excellent mechanical, chemical (wastewater, salty water…), UV and outdoors resistance. Very good scratch and wear resistance. It can be either supplied colorless or colored (standard reflective white and grey similar to RAL 7001, semi-gloss appearance). Alternatively, the colorless version can be pigmented in situ with suitable color pastes (see PU Pigments) when a small amount of specific coloured resin or a large due date of the resin is required (gloss appearance).
Applications:
Protective topcoat for liquid-applied waterproofing membranes (always pigmented).
Can be applied on roofs, balconies, terraces, stadium stands… with heavy pedestrian traffic and on parking decks with light vehicular traffic. It can be applied with a roller, brush, or airless machine (in this case, pigmented). It can be combined with anti-slip additive or aggregate to achieve non-slip finishes.
It is also suitable as a protective finishing layer for liquid containment structures (continuous immersion).
COLODUR ECO 2K
Water-soluble two-component aliphatic polyurethane resin that produces a hard and flexible coating at the same time.
Brilliant aspect: High resistance to abrasion and chemical agents. Excellent protection of the surface in floors subject to intense wear. Does not yellow when exposed to UV rays. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, as well as in public areas.
Applications:
Available in clear or pigmented for finishing:
- Garage flooring, parking areas with heavy traffic.
- Microcement, artistic pavements.
- Cement, epoxy and polyurethane pavements, cement-based self-leveling mortar.
COLODUR ECO MATT 2K
- Two-component aliphatic polyurethane resin soluble in water that
produces a hard and flexible coating at the same time. - Matt aspect: High resistance to abrasion and chemical agents.
Excellent surface protection for floors subject to heavy wear. Does not
yellow when exposed to UV rays. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use,
as well as in public areas.
Applications:
Available in clear or pigmented for finishing:
- Garage flooring, heavily trafficked parking areas.
- Microcement, artistic flooring.
- Cement, epoxy and polyurethane flooring, self-leveling cement-based mortar.
PAINTCHLORE 2K
- Two-component acrylic polyurethane hybrid resin, highly cross-linked with an aliphatic isocyanate, that once cured, forms a continuous coating, with excellent mechanical, UV, outdoors and chemical resistance (salt water, chlorinated…). Resistant to continuous
immersion in water, even chlorinated. Always supplied colored. When cured, a hard coating with a shiny appearance is obtained.
Applications:
Protective topcoat for liquid-applied waterproofing membranes (always pigmented) in conduction and containment projects, with salty or chlorinated water. A minimum of two crossed layers has to be applied to ensure complete coverage of the previous coat. Chlorine being a powerful bleaching agent, there is a risk that Paintchlore 2K supplied in colors other than white will change its color in continuous contact with water with excessive concentration of chlorine.
